Steve is the English voice in the Voice Pool. He can render texts in both international and classic British English. In his journalistic features he exudes authenticity and competence – it is these pieces that probably give you the most accurate impression of what Steve’s really about. Commercials and image videos introduce you to his energetic and dynamic side, and in audio guides and documentary films his voice transmits vitality and gravitas. What consistently marks him out in all formats is confidence and persuasiveness. Steve is also confident and highly experienced in on-camera situations. All you need to do to convince yourself of all these qualities is to simply scroll through the audio and video samples and listen in to some of them.

Steve grew up near Oxford in the United Kingdom. He now lives in Berlin, but still spends a lot of time in his native country. He is a professional voice-over and presenter for Germany’s international television station. He is highly experienced in direction and editing of audio formats and also works as a translator. He always draws on his experience as an editor when dealing with conceptual and dramaturgical questions. He has his own studio for productions.
